Salesforce’s launch of Agentforce Vibes marks a major milestone in the evolution of AI-assisted development. With Vibes, Salesforce is upleveling what they had started with Agentforce for Developers and expanding the features of that tool. They’re bringing AI directly into the developer’s world — an intelligent coding partner that understands metadata, writes Apex, and tests applications inside governed environments.
At Atrium, we’re genuinely excited about this direction because it perfectly complements what we’ve been building with Andi, our AI Salesforce consultant. While Andi can write Apex when you need it, it was purpose-built from Day 1 to knock out Salesforce configuration tasks.
Whether you’re building complex flows in a couple of minutes, creating hundreds of custom objects and fields as part of an org merge with one click, or rebuilding workflows and process builders as flows before they’re no longer supported at the end of this year, Andi is your configuration companion. And when you need to build Lightning Web Components or rapidly work through complex Apex, Agentforce Vibes is there to complete the total Salesforce development picture.
What Agentforce Vibes brings to the table
Agentforce Vibes introduces Vibe Codey, a context-aware AI that collaborates like a pair programmer inside any VS Code-compatible IDE. Codey understands an org’s schema, can generate and refactor Apex and Lightning Web Components, create test cases, resolve bugs, and even deploy applications through natural-language DevOps commands.
It’s a bold step toward true agentic development — one where developers can move faster, reduce manual effort, and focus on designing scalable, secure business applications. Combined with Salesforce’s Einstein Trust Layer, Sandboxes, and DevOps Center, Vibes brings enterprise-grade guardrails to AI-driven coding.
Where Andi extends the vision
When Salesforce was first released, its “clicks not code” approach to configuring the system was revolutionary for a CRM. It’s still a valuable feature, but those clicks can take time, time that Andi whisks away in an instant.
Imagine creating a flow using only a prompt, or standing up a new custom object — with fields, validation rules, and page layouts — without ever touching Salesforce. Andi is vibe coding for configuration.
Flow of development now can look something like this:
- You create a new custom object and 40 related fields using only a prompt in Andi. In under 5 minutes, you have everything created, and each field has field-level security applied based on a back-and-forth conversation you had in an Andi prompt window.
- You create 3 complex validation rules against the new object without ever leaving the prompt window. Andi understands the context and knows the rules apply to the object you just created, and it gets that complex validation rule syntax right every time.
- You know that after saving a record in your new object, you want to fire off a series of actions. You use Andi to create a flow that creates related records and updates the parent record.
- Now, maybe you need to run some complex calculations that require custom, high-volume processing and direct interaction with external systems. You flip over to Vibe Codey and prompt your way through the requirements. Vibe Codey understands the context of the Salesforce org (including the new object you just created), and it writes custom Apex to complete the task. A before insert trigger on the object can execute the complex calculation before the record is saved. An after insert trigger can then handle an API callout to an external system, using bulkified DML to stay within governor limits.
That’s what the next era of Salesforce delivery looks like.
The developer’s role is evolving
Developer demand is shifting while roles like architect, admin, and consultant are growing. In this next era of Salesforce development, AI-assisted delivery tools like Agentforce Vibes and Andi don’t replace developers — they elevate them.
Developers will spend less time translating requirements into syntax and more time solving architecture challenges, defining business logic, and validating AI-generated results. Consultants and admins will focus more on value realization, less on repetitive configuration.
AI doesn’t remove the human — it removes the friction.
Building together with agentic delivery
Atrium is embracing Agentforce Vibes as part of a larger shift toward agentic enterprise delivery. Both tools are rooted in the same principle: delivering faster, higher-quality Salesforce outcomes built on transparency and trust.
The future of Salesforce development isn’t just smarter code. It’s a smarter delivery model — one where AI agents and humans collaborate seamlessly across the entire lifecycle.
Agentforce Vibes is vibe coding in the traditional sense, accelerating the creation of custom code.
Andi is vibe coding for Salesforce configuration, rapidly reducing the time needed to create flows, fields, or other core Salesforce configuration components.
Together, they make Salesforce delivery faster, more predictable, and more human than ever before.
See what Andi can do at Dreamforce
If you’re attending Dreamforce 2025 in San Francisco, you’ll see this ecosystem come to life — Salesforce showcasing Vibe Coding labs for custom coding, and Atrium showcasing Andi’s real-world time-savings for everything Salesforce configuration. The combination of the two tools enables a comprehensive end-to-end agent development experience.
