Looking Ahead at 2023 in Business Technology Trends and Salesforce Events

Welcome to 2023! When I was a kid, I imagined what life would be like in the 21st century. Surely I would enjoy flying cars, space tourism, and a robot sibling who wouldn’t steal my Legos. I never imagined smartphones, wireless internet (or internet at all), or chatbots. But here we are.

With the new year, it’s always a time to commit to reconnecting with friends and learning new things. One of the best ways to do this is by attending an event. Of course, the last couple of years has made this difficult with Covid and economic strains. But if anything, the last few years have taught us the importance of making connections and sharing ideas.

With end-of-year planning and new resolutions for the year top of mind as we ramp back up following the holidays, there are more ways than ever to keep up with upgrades, enhancements, and integrations that are essential to your everyday technologies and business processes. Attending industry conferences, networking events, and getting information directly from the experts can go a long way toward making your year the best it can be for you, your customers, and your teams.

Business technologies and trends to watch in 2023

It’s difficult to predict what the hot technologies will be in a given year. It takes a perfect storm of the right solution at the right moment to really change an industry. That said, here are a few key 2023 business trends to really watch for:

1. Innovations in AI and machine learning

2022 is the year many of us got caught up in the excitement around ChatGPT. While not perfect, this promising technology gives us a hint of what is coming in the world of AI. Specifically, AI and machine learning technologies are expected to become more widespread in the business world, with applications ranging from data analysis and decision-making to customer service and marketing.

2. Internet of Things (IoT)

The IoT refers to the interconnected network of physical devices, sensors, and other objects that are equipped with internet connectivity and can collect and exchange data. In the year ahead, corporations are likely to increasingly rely on IoT technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and gather valuable data.

We at Atrium are especially excited about what IoT and data analytics can do in the life sciences industry, where new insights from medtech devices are showing the value healthcare providers get from their technology investments.

3. Virtual and augmented reality

Virtual and augmented reality technologies are becoming increasingly sophisticated and are expected to have a range of applications in the business world, including training, product demonstrations, and remote collaboration. One day I look forward to meeting you with a cool avatar in a virtual conference room.

The team at Atrium wishes you a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2023. Reach out and let’s discuss your goals for the year ahead.
